June 15 - August 21, 2026
Power in the Praises Church (PITPC) has established itself as a trusted provider of youth enrichment in Detroit’s Canton neighborhood, serving elementary-aged students with programming that blends academic support, creative expression, and physical activity. PITPC partners with educational vendors like No Fear Café (STEM) and Larry Clark Gospel (choir and theatre for kids) to deliver high-quality, affordable programming that meets the diverse needs of children and families.
During the school year, PITPC will offer after-school programs for math and reading tutoring, pickleball, and basketball. In the summer, PITPC provides full-day programming with four rotations: STEM (led by No Fear STEM), choir and theatrical performing arts (led by Larry Clark Gospel), and sports (pickleball and basketball). These services are designed to reinforce academic skills, encourage creativity, and promote healthy lifestyles.
